We spent a week in the cabins and had a fabulous time,it was a great base for us to go sightsee from and then a nice open fire and relax in the evening,the cabin was immaculately clean and had all the mod cons,the layout was perfect and very spacious,we brought our 4 year old son and our 5 year old labrador and a great time was had by all,it was great to be able to let the dog outside and know he was safe,this was a very family friendly place and we would definitley visit again and highly recommend it,Ita the supervisor was on hand should we need anything and was very friendly and helpfull,we hope to visit again soon

Fantastic weekend, great location and awesome lodge. All mod cons, will defo visit again. loved the open plan great for games of twister. not to mention our own playground on our doorstep.. zipwire rocks

This is a great base for mountain bikers - very short drive to the Ballyhoura trail head.
6 of us came down for a long weekend - less than 2.5 hours from Dublin. Great big living area, a big hall with loads of space for all the gear and good sized bedrooms.

Ita was very helpful and friendly.

We would definately recommend these cottages. The location in the trees is lovely but not isolated. The mountain bike trails are nearby and the countryside around is great for walking too, The houses are very comfortable and Ita the superviser is a great asset to the place. We will return I hope.

Our group of 29 rented 5 cabins for a 3 night weekend in August 2010.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality, layout and equipment in the chalets.

Ita Kiely was very welcoming, helpful and efficient. She helped make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

It is an ideal venue for families or grouops.

A very comfortable house with everything that we needed and very good value. The mountain biking was great in easy access of the house. Great walks to choose from. The children loved the playgrounds and exploring the forest. A big thank you to Ita Kiely the site supervisor. She could not have been more helpful and welcoming and made our stay extra special. This was our first visit to the area and thanks to Ita we had a super week and definitely intend to return.

We took seven cottages and everyone had an absolutely wonderful weekend, nobody wanted to leave.

Everything was perfect and we all hope to return again.

Thanks Ita for being so helpful and kind, everyone was delighted to have met you and you could not have made us feel more welcome.

Really enjoyed our stay in Ireland, its sad we have to go away from this beautiful County that has plenty on offer and show. We've explored down many roads, not sure which way or where to go!

What a wonderful cabin! Ample space and open plan. The site is set in a lovely scenic location with just the right amount of space between cabin, not to feel crowded.

I've stayed in numerous self-catered accommodations in Ireland and the UK and this one rates high on the list.

The surrounding area looks like an amazing place for walking and riding.

Hopefully next time in there it will be on holiday and not work!

We had a wonderful stay here with our family who were visiting from Cavan. Ita could not have been more helpful and kind to us and Trident are lucky to have her.

We are on our third visit and we'll return to stay again.
